OUR

CURRICULUM

At Lana’s Early Learners Academy, we believe that every child is a capable, curious, and creative learner.

  • Our educational approach is rooted in the Reggio Emilia philosophy, which values child-led exploration, hands-on learning, and the belief that children express themselves in a hundred different ways. Through the fusion of open-ended play, artistic and analytical expression, and meaningful connections, we encourage children to take an active role in their learning journey.

  • Guided by Christian values, we cultivate an environment of kindness, respect, and love. We seek to nurture not only intellectual growth but also the development of a strong moral character. Through Bible stories, prayer, and daily examples of Christ’s love, we encourage children to develop compassion, integrity, and a heart for others.

  • At the forefront of our curriculum is the belief that every child matters—what they need matters, what they are interested in matters, what they gravitate toward matters, and both their strengths and challenges matter. We honor the individuality of each child, ensuring their unique needs and abilities are supported and celebrated. We recognize that student success is not predicated on rigid academic standards but by each child's unique journey of growth and discovery. We provide individualized attention and scaffold learning experiences to meet children where they are, honoring their abilities, interests, and natural pace of development.

We also believe that learning should be joyful and engaging. Our play-based emergent curriculum allows children to explore, create, and discover through hands-on experiences that support cognitive, social, emotional, and physical development. Whether through imaginative play, STEM exploration, or collaborative problem-solving, we foster a deep love for learning that spans a lifetime.

  • We are committed to partnering with families to create a community where children feel valued, supported, and inspired to grow. We will maintain communication with parents throughout the day, providing pictures and written messages about your respective child.

“Human life flourishes when we honor three key principles: that human beings are naturally diverse, that children are inherently curious learners, and that creativity is at the heart of growth and discovery”
